2018 Humble Red
Tasting notes
This Reserve blend displays notes of blackcherry and plum complimented with cinnamon toast on the front of the palate. The flavors are blackberry and dark fruit, with a bright finish. The balance and structure of this wine ensure a long life.
Production notes
The Primitivo, Nebbiolo, and Tempranillo grapes were hand picked on the same day and co-fermented in small fermentation bins. To achieve maximum flavor and color extraction, the bins were punched down three times daily. When the fermentation reached dryness, the wine was pressed and transferred to French oak barrels where it aged for 16 months.
Other notes
Refreshing flavors of cherry, blackberry, and plum sit back far enough so they don't overwhelm your Prime Rib flavors, and you'll still benefit from the complex notes of white truffle, dark chocolate, and smoke that swirl in with each bite of beef.

Located on the Rava Estate adjacent to the winery, Los Robles Vineyard is positioned within the El Pomar District, one of eleven sub appellations in the Paso Robles AVA. The vineyard features warm daytime temperatures and cool marine breezes late in the day that flow through the Templeton Gap. The soils are a mix of loam, clay and limestone, providing excellent drainage and ideal conditions for growing Italian varietals.
