2023 Pinot Blanc
Tasting notes
This Pinot Blanc was made in the Fume Blanc style, which is barrel fermented in French oak. The wine retains its natural acidity, but has a soft and elegant mid palate. Aromas are juicy pear, ripe melon, and yellow apple. Subtle baking spice and Tahitian vanilla from oak, frames the fruit perfectly.
The Pinot Blanc grapes were hand picked and channeled direct to press. The juice was racked to French oak barrels where it was fermented and aged sur lie for 16 months The oak lent complexity to the wine without overshadowing the natural freshness and acidity of the grapes.
